Winter 2008 UPDATE

We’re back in northern New Jersey! Following Dakar’s April 2007 retirement and Top Secret’s very successful first show season, we moved home to Bergen County and the northeast dressage scene. We are based out of a FANTASTIC private jumper stable, and I am continuing with some freelance teaching in the NJ/NY area. Top Secret is loving his ‘jersey boy’ life and we’re working towards the 2008 show season. Click on the North Star Dressage page or email me at NorthStarDressage@Gmail.com for information on teaching availability.

Winter 2007 UPDATE

Daks and I are settling into DC life. Things are BUSY but great! We’re boarding at Wyndham Oaks in Boyds, Maryland and enjoying the nice group and fantastic facility. We’re looking forward to a February clinic with Axel Steiner, a May clinic with Betsy, and some regional shows this spring and summer. I’m squeezing in some lessons and training around my work and riding schedule – check out the North Star Dressage page or email me at northstardressage@gmail.com for information. We are very proud to continue representing Cavallina Equestrian Fashions. Cavallina carries beautiful, unique and practical pieces designed for the riders’ lifestyle, and they are wonderful to work with!

Winter 2006 UPDATE

We spent a very nice Christmas break working out of the West Milford Equestrian Center and are heading back to school for the spring semester. Daks and I are boarding at the Caron family's Carbery Fields Farm for the school year and having a great time. We're missing winter in Wellington like crazy but we're having a very good time teaming up with Liz to bring cowgirl dressage to the northeast. =)

Check back soon for new pictures and more news.

Spring 2005 UPDATE

Daks and I are back in the Northeast after an incredible winter in Florida. We competed the Prix St. Georges and Intermediare-I classes in five shows at the Winter Equestrian Festival and White Fences venues, earning qualifying scores towards the Regional Championships and a win in our PSG division at the WEF Dressage Classic. We worked with Betsy in weekly lessons and had excellent clinic rides with Conrad Schumacher, Toine Hoefs and Debbie McDonald. In between shows and clinics, we had the time of our lives living on 'C' Road with Jodie Kelly and her 'herd.' Back in NJ we're unpacking, winding down, and getting ready for a few summer shows, but REALLY missing those sunny days in Ellie's arena, riding under the palm trees and blasting Big and Rich!

Summer 2004 UPDATE

Mimi

Our summer is off to a great start. SquirrelWood hosted a great clinic with Betsy in late May and Daks and I got to be a demo pair in Betsy's Equilates symposium.
Mimi, out of SquirrelWood's Premarin rescue mare, Ash-lee, was born the last week in May. If Daks wasn't very much a gelding and Mimi wasn't very much a Belgian, we'd think he was involved.

Florida 2003

Courtney and Dakar competed in the FEI Young Rider classes at the Palm Beach Dressage Derby CDI***/CDI-Y, the WEF Dressage Classic CDI***/CDI-Y, and the Heidelberg Cup (USET) with much success.
